Re-born for 2009, the new Vision XLA is lighter, tougher and more beautiful than before. New machining and Spool design has further reduced weight while the all new hard anodised finish offers protection to a different level. At its heart, the XLA has an extremely advanced ATH sealed drag and bearing system. You need never worry about water, sand or dirt. Having the smoothest braking system possible is essential. It  also have to work wet or dry and be precisely adjusted. In sizes 6-7 and 8-9 there is a Teflon stainless steel drag. In sizes 9-10 and 11 Spey the brake material is graphite to increase the power but still keep it smooth. These reels are designed to perform at the highest level year after year.
